Friendship Bench NOLA is currently being implemented at the New Orleans Milliam Charles School of Social Work in SUNO (Southern University at New Orleans).

A group of older adults, referred to as “Grandparents,” have undergone training and certification to serve on the Friendship Bench in DC. These benches are placed in safe community spaces, offering people of all ages access to a bench near them.
